2009 Honorary Race Co-chairs

Outrun the Sun recognizes and honors Dr. Timothy Ratliff, Ph.D., Director, Purdue University Cancer Center, and Dr. Stephen D. Williams, M.D., as the 2009 Outrun the Sun Race Against Melanoma honorary race co-chairs.

Outrun the Sun, Inc. was deeply saddened by the loss of Dr. Williams to melanoma in February 2009. He was renowned throughout the country for his roles in cancer research and patient care. He was a friend to many colleagues and patients at the IU Simon Cancer Center where he served as its director. We thank both Drs. Williams and Ratliff for their generosity and support of Outrun the Sun and also for their significant contributions to the medical profession.
